Israel is not the only democratic country in the Middle East, it is also the only one allowing people to live together irrespective of their sex. To celebrate this freedom of love, Tel Aviv hosts a Pride Week annually, offering fun and informative activities.

Lovers of cinema would enjoy a film festival dedicated to the LGBT community which is (hard to believe) pretty large. The International Film Festival known as TLV Fest takes place at Tel Aviv’s Cinematheque in the first week of June featuring movies, presentations from film makers, discussions and other cool special events. Those who are in love with opera will find their joy in the “Opera Show: The great Divas” with performance of famous songs of Barbra Streisand, Édith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Liza Minnelli and Whitney Houston. If you are looking for more extraordinary events – attend the unforgettable Drag Queens show “Cross” which will be held for 13th time this year.
