Spa & Leisure Tour 10 Days 9 Nights Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day

Welcome to your therapeutic Spa & Leisure Tour Israel! Your trusted Mazada Tours representative will be there to assist you upon your arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Once customs formalities are completed, we’ll drive you to your Tel Aviv hotel in our private, air-conditioned, and very comfortable vehicle.

Day 2: Tel Aviv City Tour & Spa Package

We’ll get the day off to a fantastic start by taking you on a driving tour of Tel Aviv’s main avenues, where you can admire the iconic Bauhaus architecture, and discover the business and entertainment capital of Israel. We’ll then continue on to Old Jaffa, an 8000-year-old port city and now a charismatic neighborhood filled with art galleries, theatres, and excellent restaurants. Discover the remnants of ancient worlds and explore the beautifully restored artist quarter. Nearby is where we’ll find Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv’s oldest neighborhood which was built in 1909. We’ll leisurely stroll along Nahalat Binyamin, one of the city’s outdoor pedestrian malls and a bustling hub home to boutiques selling handmade souvenirs, jewelry, and objets d’art, as well as ever-present street musicians that bring the street to life. Our next stop is the beautifully tree-lined Rothschild Boulevard, one of the first streets ever built in the city. We may also be able to include a visit to the eclectic and ever-colorful Shuk HaCarmel if time allows. This is the largest market in the city and is an absolute feast for all the senses! After such a busy morning, it will surely be time to relax. We will transport you to a world-class seaside wellness spa where you can indulge in a bevy of exquisite treatments. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed! You will be returned to your hotel in Tel Aviv for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Delights of the Western Coast

After your delicious breakfast, we’ll take a wonderful drive to the north, following the coastal road to Caesarea, an ancient city built by King Herod the Great over 2000 years ago. Caesarea served as a key Mediterranean transport hub for centuries and the historic port, along with its nearby national park, is an outstanding highlight to discover. The park houses a Roman amphitheater and hippodrome once used for chariot racing, which you’ll explore on a walking tour. For even more visual delights, we will head up further into the Carmel Mountains, where we’ll soak up all-encompassing vistas of Haifa, followed by a visit to the exquisite Baha’i Gardens, also affectionately known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa. Continuing via Nahariya to the northwestern tip of Israel, we’ll reach the border with Lebanon. Here, you’ll discover the spectacular limestone grottos of Rosh HaNikra, where vertiginous white-chalk cliffs tumble right into the Mediterranean. The whole coastline here is stupendous and we know this will be one of the most unforgettable highlights of your entire journey. Once your eyes and camera have feasted, we will drive to the Old Market and Knight’s Hall of Acre (Akko), an ancient small town known for its well-preserved old city walls and considered the Crusader’s Capital in the North. You might like to visit the amazing Treasures in the Walls Ethnographic Museum, which depicts life, as it was, from Ottoman times to the turn of the 20th century. After your exciting day of discovery, we will drop you off at the Carmel Forest Spa Resort, a stunning 5* haven of tranquility framed by the wilderness of the Carmel Forest Nature Reserve.

Day 4: Relax, Explore, Indulge

The luxurious Carmel Forest Spa Resort is a stunning place, offering award-winning spa services, as well as a swimming pool, sauna, Turkish hammam, solarium, and outstanding culinary delights – all of this in a gorgeous natural setting. Enjoy a free morning at the resort, indulging in whichever pleasures you desire. The resort caters to couples, solo travelers, and families alike. Once you are soaked, buffed, relaxed, and rejuvenated, we will guide you to the Stella Maris Monastery, where you can learn the fascinating stories of the nuns and monks who live on the slopes of Mount Carmel. The monastery holds priceless religious and historical prominence and, as an added bonus, the views from the top are absolutely breathtaking. Later on, we will drive you to Tiberias, along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where you will spend a night in a luxury spa hotel.

Day 5: Tiberias Region Tour

Our day will start in one of Israel’s Four Holy Cities. Tiberias carries a 2,000-year-old heritage on its formidable shoulders and offers treasures of antiquities like few other cities in the world. On a tour, you will enjoy copious views of the Sea of Galilee and better understand why Tiberias is such a revered historical city. The city is also a much-coveted vacation destination for locals, who head here to indulge, relax and unwind, from every corner of Israel. After Tiberias, we will move on to Rosh Pina, a charming town renowned for its great restaurants, cafés, and art galleries. A settlement initially founded by a group of ultra-orthodox Jews in the late 1800s, Rosh Pina was intended as an agricultural project, one of the first modern farming settlements in Israel. Many consider this the country’s very first village. After feasting on local culinary specialties in Rosh Pina, we’ll head to the Spa Hotel Mitzpe Hayamim, a luxury establishment that’s revered for home-growing the organic plants used in their therapeutic treatments. Enjoy a lavender or jasmine-infused treatment at your leisure or join a revitalizing fitness class. Alternatively, you could also enjoy a winery tour: the region is renowned for producing some of the best drops in all of Israel! When you are ready, we will drive to Jerusalem for our overnight stay.

Day 6: Jerusalem & Bethlehem Neighborhoods Tour

We’ll get the day off to a fabulous start with a guided tour of Jerusalem, which we can cater to your specific interests. As you may well imagine, the options are nearly endless! Explore the Old City highlights which comprise some of the world’s most prized historical, cultural and religious attractions, before moving on to the upmarket neighborhoods of Mamilla and Rechavya. Culinary delights and brilliant shopping await! Meander Mamilla Mall, a 2000’-long outdoor shopping strip (the only one of its kind in West Jerusalem) replete with trendy café and awesome street art. You may also wish to visit Machane Yehuda, the largest market in the entire country, home to over 250 distinct vendors. We will then travel to Bethlehem and enter the town via biblical Manger Square, the site of the Church of the Nativity. Enjoy a tour of this priceless place of worship, before touring the nearby Shepherd’s Field. At the end of our day, we will return to Jerusalem to enjoy another overnight stay in the vibrant city.

Day 7: Masada Half-Day Tour & the Dead Sea

This morning, we’ll take you through the Judean hills to the desert, to visit one of Israel’s historical highlights and a place that is very close to our hearts. A fortress that inspired our company’s founder! Enjoy a cable-car ride and guide tour of the spellbinding Masada Fortress, a magnificent castle built by King Herod over 2,000 years ago. We will then move on to the ‘crown jewel’ of your Spa & Leisure Tour in Israel: the famous Dead Sea! Enjoy the most therapeutic treatments of all: a unique bathing experience on one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water – cover your entire body in mud, lie back, and enjoy the magical sensation of floating on air. You will also visit one of the area’s best wellness spas, so you can enjoy more treatments in sulfur-enriched pools. Finally, we will drive back to Tel Aviv for another night’s stay in the lively city.

Day 8: Free Day Dead Sea

Today is your chance to indulge all day by the Dead Sea. Take a leisurely day off the sightseeing and relax, choosing from the spa-treatment menu those indulgences you did not get a chance to enjoy yesterday. At the end of what will surely be an exquisite day of therapeutic pampering, we will drive you back to Tel Aviv for the overnight accommodation.

Day 9: Carmel Market Culinary Tour

This morning will be all about a different kind of indulgence: the culinary kind! On today’s wellness menu of highlights that are so good for you is a visit to the Carmel Market, undoubtedly the most popular bazaar in Tel Aviv. First, you’ll enjoy a tasting tour of all the local specialties for which this market is renowned, before taking an immersive Mediterranean cooking class. After all, taking home new recipes from your spa and leisure tour in Israel means your visit will continue long after this week is over! Enjoy a free afternoon doing whatever takes your fancy: relax by the beach, squeeze in a stint of fabulous souvenir shopping, and, if there’s still room, feast on more of Tel Aviv’s gastronomic delights. You will spend the last night in Tel Aviv!
