Day 1: Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport
Welcome to Israel! We will meet you at the airport to assist you through the arrival process and then drive you to your Tel Aviv accommodations.
Day 2: Weizmann Institute
We will begin our day in Rehovot, to see the Weizmann Institute of Science, the premier research institute of Israel. There, you will see a 360-degree, interactive, incredible presentation that your kids will love. You’ll also see the interactive museum with digital touch-tables. Optionally, you can choose to see the Ayalon Institute instead of the Weizmann, a museum of the site that used to be a secret ammunition factory.
Then, in the afternoon, we will visit Tel Aviv for a tour of the major sites, including the port of Tel Aviv and the Yarkon Park, where your kids can run around in the green escape at the North of the city.
You will spend the night in Tel Aviv accommodations.
Day 3: Drive North to the Golan
After breakfast, we will drive to Beit She’an, the archeologically preserved Roman city, and picnic in the Gan Hashlosha National Park, one of the most beautiful areas in all of Israel.
We will then drive to Jerusalem for your overnight accommodations.
Day 4: Tzfat
We will start the day in Tzfat, one of the four holy cities of Israel, to explore the old synagogues of this spiritual capital, and Artist’s Quarter.
We will then travel to the Jordan River and, season permitting, take a raft or kayak ride down the biblical stream.
You will then be returned to your Tiberias accommodations for the evening.
Day 5: Jerusalem Old City
We will enter the Old City and visit the Western Wall and the accompanying tunnels, an interesting look into the history of this biblical city. As available by season, we will see the unforgettable light show at the Tower of David. The spectacle draws a crowd of all ages, but definitely makes a special impression on children.
Finally, you will be returned to your Jerusalem hotel for the evening.
Day 6: Jerusalem New City
We will begin the tour of the New City on Ammunition Hill, Israel Museum, and Jerusalem Time Elevator to learn about the history of Jerusalem and its impact on the world.
Finally for a snack, we will go to the Mahane Yehuda market for some treats, including some famous rugelach, pita, hummus, and kanafeh.
Overnight accommodations are in Jerusalem.
Day 7: Masada and the Dead Sea
In the morning, we will drive to the ancient Judaean fortress of Masada to ascend this Herodian palace by cable car, and take in the breathtaking view of the Dead Sea and Jordanian mountains.
Then, we will take the kids for a camel ride and head to Ein Gedi to see the massive, picturesque waterfalls, and wild ibex roaming free in the nature reserve.
Finally, after a long day, you can relax by the salty waters of the Dead Sea, and even spread some mud on your skin to absorb the healing minerals.
The evening will be spent at your Dead Sea hotel.
Day 8: Goodbye!
