Day 1: Welcome to Israel!
We will meet you at the airport and assist you through the arrival process, and then drive you in an air-conditioned vehicle to your Tel Aviv accommodations.
Day 2: Weizmann Institute
We will begin our day in Rehovot, to see the Weizmann Institute of Science, the premier research institute of Israel. There, you will see a 360-degree, interactive, incredible presentation that your kids will love. You’ll also see the interactive museum with digital touch-tables. Optionally, you can choose to see the Ayalon Institute instead of the Weizmann, a museum of the site that used to be a secret ammunition factory.
Then, in the afternoon, we will visit Tel Aviv for a tour of the major sites, including the port of Tel Aviv and the Yarkon Park, where your kids can run around in the green escape at the North of the city.
You will spend the night in Tel Aviv accommodations.
Day 3: Haifa
After breakfast, we will drive along the coast, Northbound, to Haifa. We will get a literal overall view of the city by ascending Mount Carmel. This panoramic view is breathtaking, and it will be hard to leave to head to the next stop, the port.
Haifa is famous for being a port city, and its geographic “sore thumb” structure created a natural hub for Israel’s shipping industry going back to ancient times.
Then, we will head to the museum on the Technion campus, the MIT of Israel. This interactive museum has many buttons to press and levers to pull. It even includes a full-size fighter jet and a courtyard with many tools and toys.
Finally, we will say goodbye to Haifa and drive to the Golan Heights, for overnight accommodations in the Golan.
Day 4: Golan Heights tour
The first stop of the day will be the De Karina chocolate factory, where kids can design their own chocolate. They get two distinct feelings of joy- the first from creativity, and then the second from the delicious taste of chocolate!
Then, we will drive up Mount Bental, and take in the view of both the Golan Heights and also of Quneitra, Syria.
We can optionally do a Jeep tour of the area, where you can really see nature in a more rugged way, on roads where cars cannot go. Or, you can take an optional horse ride at Meron Golan, another memorable way to see nature that kids love!
Finally, we will drop you off at your Tiberias accommodations.
Day 5: Tzfat
We will start the day in Tzfat, one of the four holy cities of Israel. We will see the old Synagogues of this spiritual capital, and then go see the latest creations in the narrow streets of the Artist’s Quarter.
Then, we will head to the Jordan River, to take in the view, and season permitting, take an exciting raft or kayak ride down the biblical stream. This is sure to be exciting and memorable for the kids.
You will then be returned to your Tiberias accommodations for the evening.
Day 6 Beit She’an
After breakfast, we will drive to Beit She’an, which is an archeologically preserved city from Roman times. There are so many columns and relics to see, it will spark your kids’ imagination and bring them back to ancient times.
Then, we will go to Gan Hashlosha National Park, one of the most beautiful parks in the whole world, people say. This is a perfect opportunity for a little picnic, some nice pictures, and simply taking in the place that some say is heaven on earth.
We will then drive to Jerusalem for your overnight accommodations.
Day 7: Jerusalem Old City
We will enter the Old City and see all the major sites that you prefer. One thing we will not miss is the Western Wall Tunnels, which are exciting for any kid. To go underground is fun, and to explore the archeological history is incredibly interesting.
Then, as available by season, we will see the unforgettable light show at the Tower of David. The spectacle draws a crowd of all ages, but definitely makes a special impression on kids.
Finally, you will be returned to your Jerusalem hotel for an overnight.
Day 8: Jerusalem New City
We will begin the tour of the New City on Ammunition Hill, to learn about the history of Jerusalem. Age depending, we can also go to the Biblical Zoo.
Then, we will head to the Israel Museum to see the latest, hands-on exhibitions.
We will then go to the exciting Jerusalem Time Elevator. This amusement park ride of sorts will take you through the history in a visceral way, that engages all the senses.
Finally, for a snack, we will go to the Mahane Yehuda market for some treats, including some famous rugelach for the kids (and the parents, too!).
Overnight accommodations are in Jerusalem.
Day 9: Masada and the Dead Sea
In the morning, we will drive into the desert, and arrive at Masada. We will ascend this Herodian palace by cable car, and take in the breathtaking view of the Dead Sea and Jordanian mountains.
Then, we will take the kids for a camel ride, another experience they will surely remember forever.
Afterwards, we will head to Ein Gedi to see massive, picturesque waterfalls, and ibex roaming free in the nature reserve.
Finally, after a long day, you can relax by the salty waters of the Dead Sea, and even spread some mud on your skin to absorb the healing minerals.
The evening will be spent at a hotel by the Dead Sea.
Day 10: Dead Sea – Timna Park
We will drive South towards Eilat, and make stop in at Timna Park, a famous oasis in the desert. This park has famous rock formations, which you will see either through a jeep tour, by biking the trails or simply hiking, depending on the capability of your kids.
The beauty of this natural area and also the archaeological and geological features make it one of the most famous and important parks in Israel.
Finally, we will continue to your Eilat hotel, where you can refresh and relax.
Day 11: Free Day Eilat
Eilat is a famous vacation spot, and you have the day to find out why. You can see dolphins, scuba dive, take a boat ride, or, the highly recommended underwater observatory. Of course, you could choose to simply relax by the Dead Sea.
Overnight accommodations are at the same hotel in Eilat.
Day 12: Mitzpe Ramon – Tel Aviv
We will depart in the morning Northbound to another famous Negev attraction- Mitzpeh Ramon. There, we will the famous crater. On our Ramon Crater jeep tour, we'll ride through the biggest crater ("Makhtesh") of its kind in the world, while we go some 220 million years back in time to the time of the dinosaurs. We’ll learn about the formation of this phenomena, taste unique desert plants, trace wild animal tracks and listen to the roaring hum of silence.
Finally, we will ascend into the town to see the Spice Road, before departing for Tel Aviv, our final destination where you’ll spend the evening.
Day 13: Departure
We will drive you to the airport and say our final goodbyes. Thanks for visiting!
